Maybe you took French, but it was a long time ago, or you took it, but still have some gaps. Pas de problème! We work with what you know, and build on it systematically based on what your needs are. If you still have your French textbook lying around, great! We will work on sentence construction and on building your speaking and listening skills. At the end, you will be confident of discussing topics such as work, school, health, and food with your new French, Canadian, or West-African French-speaking friend. I lived in France for three years, attended the Sorbonne alongside French students, and taught High School and University level French. My Master's Degree is in French Language and Culture, so I'm able to discuss "Modern French" history going back to the 16th Century, and can help you with anything you want to say or do!
Textbooks I use are Chez Nous, Tous Ensemble by Valette and Valette, and Promenades, but we can discuss how you want to work and what resources you have handy!
