FAD MODEL FOR OUTSTANDING INDIVIDUALIZED LEARNING SYSTEM

It has been an awesome online tutoring experience handling several learners from Africa, Europe and Asia over the years and i have discovered a model that has helped me to get the best out of my learners.

FAD here means Flipped+Adaptive+Differentiated.

So i begin by flipping my classes and this simply means i provide interactive videos and slides and also allow my learners to do some research on the topic before we meet online. You will be surprised to see what your learners can do in this kind of atmosphere. The internet gives them access to every thing they need to know and so they are coming to class with a fore-knowledge of the subject matter and this makes them more engaged and involved as they have a good level of control over the class.WHEN THEY ARE INFORMED THEY ARE INVOLVED. So when we meet online, it's time to "ADAPT", so we spend few minutes to discuss and then i use tools like quizizz and kahoot to adapt by assessing them. I prefer these tools because of the gamified approach, its fun for my learners. After this is done, i get to know the GAPS. I get to know where they still need help and then i just go ahead to differentiate by gathering materials that focuses on the gaps majorly interactive videos and slides curated by me and this goes on as a cycle for my learners.

I believe every learner has the capacity to be excellent and as i patiently apply this model, i see them getting excited and happy because of how easy it becomes over and over to learn various concepts in math and physics. You can sign up for a class with me on this platform to be your friend as we deal with your math and physics challenges.
